Clinical

I am a Specialty Registrar in Clinical Genetics at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in London.

I undertook my medical degree at the University of Oxford (2018) and have since completed foundation training at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, and completed junior paediatric training at Barts Health NHS Trust in North East London.

 

Research

I am an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Clinical Genetics at the Maurice Wohl Institute for Clinical Neuroscience, King’s College London within the Ule Lab. 

I previously completed the Academic Foundation Programme in Brighton, working with the International Neonatal Consortium. I also undertook an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship in Paediatrics at the GOS Institute of Child Health, UCL with the Ryten Lab. 

My key interests are bioinformatics, transcriptomics, RNA biology, and both rare & complex diseases.

 

Charity

I am a trustee for the McPin Foundation. This charity champions the role of lived experience in mental health research. 

I was previously a young trustee at the Archway Foundation, a charity tackling loneliness in Oxfordshire.

Leadership

I am a central committee member and spokesperson for the European Society of Human Genetics – Young committee. In this capacity, I also act as an observer on the ESHG Policy and Ethics Committee.

I am an inaugural member of the UK Young Academy, a venture that brings together young professionals in various fields to work collaboratively for positive social change.
